Anthony Tremblay: Anthony Tremblay has a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Image Arts from Ryerson University. He has traveled extensively throughout Canada and the US for his current body of work, from Newfoundland to Hawaii. In the spirit of ethnography, he documents vehicles in settings that are meaningful or ironic, as a way of capturing or commenting on social values. Tremblay’s professional experience includes volunteering in the archives of the Gordon Parks Foundation under Parks’ longtime assistant, Johanna Fiore; working in a commercial lab; and teaching senior level photography at a Mississauga high school, concentrating on traditional black and white silver-based processes.
